SAN FRANCISCO, November 1, 2017 – PresenceLearning, the leading telehealth network of live, online special education related service providers, recently launched online early childhood services to expand the ability of schools and districts to deliver early childhood interventions and services to children ages 0-5. With PresenceLearning, school systems and education organizations can access a nationwide network of hundreds of highly qualified clinicians – including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavioral and mental health professionals – to help deliver these timely services to young learners and to consult with their families and caregivers.

During the online sessions, children connect with live clinicians via PresenceLearning’s secure, interactive video platform, which is optimized for the therapy experience and includes a library of thousands of therapy activities as well as progress tracking tools. Clinicians can provide IDEA Part B and Part C services to children with mild, moderate, and severe needs. The sessions are conducted one-on-one or in small groups, are individualized in accordance with each child’s IEP or 504 plan, and can take place in either the child’s home or in an educational environment such as a preschool or early childhood center.
Online services can produce similar or better outcomes as compared to traditional in-person therapy services.
